This is the fun part of wedding planning – who doesn’t love cake?!

I absolutely love making wedding cakes. To be even a small part of a couple’s big day is an honour and a pleasure.

All Wedding Cakes include a consultation with taster samples in your choice of up to 6 flavours and a bespoke design service to ensure your cake is perfectly suited to your special day.

There is a small charge for taster samples. If you go ahead and book your wedding cake with Natalie’s Cakes and Bakes the cost of the samples will be deducted from your final balance.

Prices:

Prices for 2023 wedding cakes start from:

Small 3 tier sponge serving approx. 70 – £395

Med 3 tier sponge serving approx. 90 – £475

Large 3 tier sponge serving approx. 120 – £540

Small 4 tier sponge serving approx. 130 – £575

Medium 4 tier sponge serving approx. 140 – £595

Large 4 tier sponge serving approx. 200 – £800.

All my wedding cake tiers are 6 inches tall. Portion sizes are based on 1 x 2 inch grid slices halved to a 3 inch depth.

I operate a minimum spend of £395 on wedding orders (Not including delivery but can include favours)

On average couples spend between £395 – £600 for a 3 tier cake or £575 – £800+ for a 4 tier cake.

Consultation:

No obligation consultations are held at my home where you will be able to come and view some of my display cakes and talk through your ideas.

Consultations are by appointment only and are limited to 2 people.

It would be useful to bring along samples of anything you would like incorporating into your cake design i.e. colour samples, fabric swatches, invitations etc. However this is not essential. Please contact us to arrange your consultation date and time.

Terms & Conditions

Booking Fee & Payment:

To secure your date a £50 booking fee is required. Without this deposit I am unable to secure your booking and your date will be available for somebody else to book.

Please note that booking fees are non-refundable.

The final balance is due one month prior to your wedding.
Once this payment has been made unfortunately this is not refundable.

Refunds/Cancellations:

The initial £50 booking fee is non refundable under any circumstances. In the event of a cancellation your deposit will be forfeited and will be retained by Natalie’s Cakes and Bakes.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking where circumstances are beyond our control such as a natural disaster, extreme weather conditions or severe ill health and in this instance I will refund all monies paid.

If, for whatever reason you cancel your booking after your final balance has been paid then unfortunately this is not refundable.

Delivery Information:

I strongly recommend that I deliver and set up your wedding cake for you. tiered wedding cakes can be very fragile and it is important that they are transported and handled correctly. I will deliver your cake on the morning of your wedding and ensure that it is displayed correctly and safely. I cannot be held liable for any damage to the cake at the venue once I have left the premises.

Anyone wishing to collect their wedding cake will be required to sign a disclaimer. Natalie’s Cakes & Bakes cannot be held responsible for any damage to the cake once the cake has been collected.

Delivery costs will depend how far away your venue is from Wallasey Village. We deliver within the Wirral, Liverpool, Chester, Cheshire and North Wales and the North West. Please contact us for a quotation.

Shelf Life
Once cut, your cake should be consumed within 4 days. although it is safe to freeze your cake, we cannot guarantee the quality of the cake after freezing.
Allergies/Dietary Requirements
Please make me aware if any of your guests have special dietary requirements or allergies. Some cakes can be made without nuts, gluten and alcohol but please be aware that all of my cakes are prepared in a kitchen that uses all of the above ingredients. Therefore, am unable to guarantee my cakes are completely “free from” these ingredients due to the risk of cross contamination
